The trial starts from inside the product. Register for the free Community edition, install it, then switch the trial on from the licence page.
How the trial works
Three steps to your trial
- Register for Community. It is free. You register in our client portal, confirm your email address and are sent a licence key.
- Install Cofferdam. Sign in to the portal for the install guide and the release download, then enter your key.
- Start the trial. In Cofferdam, open Settings, then Licence, and choose "Start a 30-day Professional trial".
Already running Community? Go straight to step 3 in your own install.
What the trial gives you
Everything in the Professional edition, on your own install, for 30 days, up to Professional's limits of 10 sites, 2,500 assets and 50 users. See the full comparison of editions.
Good to know
- One trial for each install. It cannot be extended or started again.
- Most trials start straight away. A second trial for the same organisation, or one requested from a free email address, waits for our approval.
- Start it on the latest release of Cofferdam, so the product's own screens describe the trial correctly.
- When the trial ends the install carries on as Community. Nothing is deleted.
- Enterprise is not part of the trial. To evaluate Enterprise, book a demo.
